We have realised our super cheap deals don't make us any money so need to charge you more

So it will migrate people over to the three network, what about people who are on TPO EE network at present with a 2g phone. Will the 3 network work with their 2g phones?

You'll have to buy a new phone if you want to stay with them, Three only allow service to handsets that are a minimum of 3G.

It will mean inferior coverage too, especially given large swathes of rural networks are still 2G only - especially indoors e.g. Scotland. I guess that's what they mean by flexibility.

Ive just migrated over to ID Mobile about an hour ago.

So far so good and now I am on 4G

    Thanks for the push TPO
  • Oh, just realised there are two TPO mobile networks!

I thought this was about The Post Office, duh

It has just made some changes to it's tariffs, cut it's data allowance in half for it's £10 plan, so some good suggestions for alternatives, thanks

3 do actually offer 2G voice/text backup in some rural areas where 3G/4G isn't available.

They still require a 3G capable phone though

I've just read this thread and had a look at the TPO website. I'm shocked at how much they're charging and how little they're offering.

I moved to them in August, having been with Virgin for a long time. I was getting unlimited texts, 1000 minutes and 4GB of data for £11.99 with TPO, with the bonus of 10% going to my favourite charity.

I haven't had an email from TPO yet but, going by their new offerings, I would only get 100 minutes, 100 texts and 1GB of data for £9.99.

I would have thought that most current customers of TPO are quite price conscious AND not locked into a contract.

How can TPO possibly hope to retain existing customers and attract new ones with such pathetic packages?

All of the networks- schemes to extract the money under all or any pretensions aka "businesses"
It is duty of everyone to deal with them accordingly-
Change over at once, and mind price, service from personal accord, just NEVER, under no circumstance be fooled about loyalty or fairness EVER at all.
All as one- they sell air and contracts to sell air...
