  • Oh yes! The wind was howling down the chimney into my bedroom last night and woke me up. But I soon fell back to sleep again.

Glad to be home from work though.
Currently sat at the dinning table with the heating on and little tea lights lit on my kitchen dresser to make the room seem cosy.

I have some xmas presents I need to wrap tonight and put away once I log off the laptop.

Had to write a CC cancelation letter ready to post tomorrow and write down my DD list to update YNAB.

Don't you wish sometimes you could delete people from your mind........that is how I feel tonight......stirred up emotions that I wish would do one..... lol

  • Am I the only one on here who doesn't like tea! Nor does Mr TA. Neither of us has EVER drunk tea. Give me a nice cup of coffee anytime, though I am quite partial to Liquorice tea now and then for a change.

As promised by the weathermen, the wind has dropped and we've had no rain all day. But I gather more is waiting in the wings for tomorrow. Bah!

Have a nice evening if you can xx

  • I don't like ordinary tea either. Peppermint is my favourite but I quite an earl grey every now and again.

It's blowing a hooley out there and the rain is battering the windows.

TA, I can't stand the stuff either, much to the disgust of my dear late FIL. Give me coffee any day of the week.
  • :hello: Good evening everyone,

So many new people, so nice to hear everyone's news.

I'm another one who can't live without tea, I think the world would end if they banned tea:eek:

As to all the other things we're not supposed to eat, everything in moderation is what I say:)

Dumpling, just a thought about learning to crochet, have you tried youtube, as there are videos on everything on there. I'm not very good at crochet, but have watched a few which have been really easy to follow, and have made a few things including a winter hat for myself.

busiscoming, I think doing voluntary overtime without pay is a bit of a cheek. I have just agreed to do an extra hour a day at my work, but with overtime pay, so will be a nice payday at the end of the month:D Less stress for me trying to get everything done now!

It doesn't seem too windy here today after the weekend. I went to work then picked up DD from school. We then went to the gym and then I made a sausage pasta for dinner which was so nice.

DH and I had a drive to Canterbury yesterday which was nice to look round. Parking there is so expensive, so we parked for 2 hours in a supermarket for free and shared a meal deal, so a cheap little outing:D

Have a good evening everyone. x
