For those of you/us who drink tea... never fear!

Morning all, thought I'd say hi today instead of just lurking.
I hope everyone is safe and well after the wind and rain of last night. Anglesey got her fair share of gusts yesterday and through the night.
It does annoy me the way sensationalist newspapers scare/upset people with cancer risks . A sensible diet will generally see you right although there is a common link between all cancers - it affects the living.
If tea was ever implicated in health scares, I think Wales would fall to pieces.
Me and Mr Maity are off to Spain this week - cheap flights and a cheap (discounted) apartment with a kitchen - to see friends. Despite this, we're tightening the belts again before Christmas so I've been back on the OS boards reminding myself of how we survived some pretty rough times.
Hope everyone has a lovely day,

I am just about to hang the washing outside and then put another load of bedding on to wash.
Ham and veg soup is in the fridge for lunch and dinner will probably be baked fish and veg.
I bit the bullet and phoned the estate agent to put in a bid for the chalet bungalow and also told my estate agent about the offer I made. Our house should show up as either under offer or SSTC in the next few days. I will take the forms down to lawyers tomorrow once I have completed them.
If I do get the bungalow I am thinking of paying extra to have everything packed up for me which should reduce stress. Trying not to overthink things and worry.

Afternoon all,
Had a lovely day on Saturday. DS1 and his partner came for the day, also had DS2's girlfriend with her friend's baby. Oh my, usually he has four people vying for him, Saturday it was six of us!!
Sunday was a lazy day, just me and DH, we went off for a walk through the woods as the sun was shining.
This morning I went to see my friend, was nice to have a natter and put the world to rights. Everyone seems a bit down today though, me included. Something to do with the French atrocities I suspect
Work wanted me and a colleague to do some regular overtime on a voluntary basis. We have decided to decline their kind invitation and have said we want paying - anyone else would. Bit of a cheek really!
Mince for dinner tonight0 -
Hi Maity :hello:
Hope you have a lovely Spanish break.Bring some sun back with you.:D
Thanks Judi! Wouldn't some sun be wonderful instead of yellow warnings.
I'm hoping to convince Mr Maity that my idea of returning to Barcelona isn't so crazy. I've made curried goat for dinner which he loves so I'm hoping it boosts the mood for me to continue with my subliminal messages."We always find something, hey Didi, to give us the impression we exist?" I drink coffee during the day, but the evenings just wouldn't be right without Mr LW making us TEA.
Sorry I've not been about - had the weekend from hell.
Got my letter Saturday that they're stopping my DLA and I have to leap through the hoops of fire to try for PIP.:( To say it's made me ill and shaky is a major understatement. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I love tea , I don't really drink coffee either  and I shall still eat meat , processed or otherwise and I like the fat crispy and almost burnt
Went shopping this morning and M and S held a minutes silence , which I thought was lovely , not a sound to be heard :T
Going to put the kettle on as im expecting a friend popping in after she finishes work
Enjoy your evening xx0
