USB wall sockets?

    USB voltage is 5, not 240. 2.1A x 5V = 10.2 watts/hour consumption per device, assuming each device is drawing the full two amps (unlikely, as my understanding is that only certain tablet computers draw this whilst charging).

    Useful contribution yes. Close but no cigar, it is not 10.2W per device.

    The total maximum USB output is 2.1A and this is shared between the two USB sockets e.g. the total USB current can be no more than 2.1A irrespective of the type of device/s inserted.

    Strange that the electrician did not pick up on the 10.2W maximum load though!
