Gold is free for year 1, then you cancel and re-apply 6 months later.

They often give an instant decision and provided your stated household income is more than £20K and your credit score good, it might be worth giving it a go.

    Income comes in many forms.

I also rotate 4 cards a year so we can also take advantage of 3 month signup offer.

    I.e

My Nectar Card - Jan to March
Wife Nectar Card April to June
June - Cancel "My Nectar Card"
My Gold Card July to Sept
Sept - Cancel "Wife Nectar Card"
My Gold Card Oct to Dec
Dec - Cancel "My Gold Card"

Not explained well but have alwyays got 2 BA cards and 2 Gold/Nectar Cards in my wife/my name.

I rotate them to get 40000 Membership rewards and £200 worth of Nectar points a year (alltogether profit = £400)

So combine the intro offers with these shop/small and other deals you can make upwards of £1000 from Amex, Easy.

A technician is ringing me back.......isn't technician a funny name for a taxman. He might as well be an engineer:o

Anyway....it's tricky so they need someone clever to talk to me:rotfl:

That sounds like civil service speak for "we don't know the answer" :rotfl:
I'm impressed you can ring them in the evening though, would have assumed it was strictly 9 to 5.

If you refer each other you'd both get 9000 points/ 2000 points x 2, more. Ie refer your wife before you cancel the Gold, you get 9000, she gets 22000 instead of 20000.

    Repeat other way around.

    22000 more each year

Please don't tell me you bought hair dye  even with the good comparison that's expensive, I have some of those, paid about £1 each in Boots last year. Think mimi put me on to them RTC and 342 from memory.

Im in desperate need of hair dye, my appointment with my hairdresser is not until the 19 December, and I now cant make it, and she has no other appointments being christmas. So going to have to resort to home remedy hair dye. Havent done it myself for years, hope it doesnt make my hair fall out :rotfl::rotfl:

Can anyone recommend a good electric tin opener. My hands are really playing up and I cant use the usual butterfly type tin openers, I am having to ask a neighbour to open them if no one in the house at the time.

    I did!

How to search for it is a different question.

Brilliant addition by Michaels confirmed my logic & added more.
