Some are a bit slow lol Savvs, not you though
I was quite slow getting to doing it last time, but somehow want to go there now and update it!:rotfl:
Oh:idea:, I did have some wombles earlier. In fact I posted one. Apart from one that didn't have enough items (their eighth item, sadly, was a newspaper:(), they all turned out not to be 10% cheaper! Other places were, extremely unusually:laugh:, cheaper on three of them. I was just having a chuckle earlier about a couple of items where they have paid much more than they would have done in M, on one of them maybe if they'd bought there a few weeks ago!0 -
I have worked out I am undiagnosed autistic so we should do the old high five.
Didn't stop me becoming MD of FTSE100 division.0 -

For the girl - What about a small piece of jewellery, or a jewellery box?
Thankyou, have found a lovely bracelet I think she will like.
Will have to have a look at the tourist board, see if I can find something.Based on my 12 year old niece, clothes, makeup, jewellery, hair stuff, computer games and dolls. I'm taking her shopping, just the two of us which I've done for the last couple of years. She enjoys that as much as any present
For the boy, what about a toy treasure chest?
Thanks, we did order a treasure chest from Amazon, and it was tiny when it arrived, looked much bigger in the picture, we didnt look at the sizes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:davemorton wrote: »What about some Geocache stuff. You might need to read up about it a little, but sounds ideal if she likes treasure hunting.

So, with the 100% success rate on all the wombles that had enough items (just the one didn't).
This one they were cheaper on. But, really, just some bananas that are holding that up: it's hardly a good advertisement for their own competitiveness on pricing. But, then again, they don't have to be competitive on their prices: people, of course, buy at places with more expensive prices all the time and it depends on what you buy, and with these price comparison schemes, it arguably reduces their need to be competitive as they can just say "well, if we're not, check the PG and we'll be 10% cheaper!". The theory is that stores with price promises are therefore able to increase their prices more easily and not necessarily send customers elsewhere: the store can just say, well, check the price promise we have!
Cheaper on the bananas, but roughly same price as M on the other items. Shame they did not buy the Airwick Double Fresh Unit at £4, so that we could see if that picks up M's £1 price. As well as the fact it would have been a much better womble had it done so! They paid nearly a pound more on their Fudge funsize bag than if they had bought it in M a few weeks ago at 43p. I think the APG is correct about that now being an N/A as I had them as gone from M by about a week ago, so I think this shop has been done too late!

People are getting all these Christmas items and some of them are giving good comparisons vs elsewhere - or other stores are about the same prices. I'm glad the Cathedral cheeses have gone down to £2 in M, if that gets picked up as it won't continue to see bad comparisons vs M. The Lake District 350g in M though are still £1.50. I do hope one of my wombled shoppers gets the Tuc Crackers in A at £1.29!0
