Locarr , not sure if you've had an answer yet about the keg? Been trying to get hold of ds3 as he has kegs. He's in London until tomorrow night and his mobile is off right now.
I know that with some kegs they have to be left sitting for a while before using. You mustn't move them and then open but I've a feeling that's more to do with sediment in the bottom. HthThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
My 3 kids were all born abroad when I was working as an expat; they are actually just as British as the rest of us & 2 of them are so clever they put us all to shame (not you Savvs lol) & will end up being very high achievers indeed, they are in 2 of the very best state schools in the country by rank (and amongst the best ones there lol).
Which preamble is enough to say they are not being exactly very British tonight.
Tomorrow is 6 December (somebody might like to explain) so they have put out the Xmas shoe, which will get filled with choc, satsuma, not sweets I hope, bits & pieces.
It's just like our Xmas Eve but not as big a stocking.
I have never heard of the shoe before, but it sounds a lovely tradition.
In relation to the school.... what is the criteria for this (only joking.... education is very important) x100 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Not very satisfactory is it when they claim everyone, the world in general, will never (my emphasis) pay more? Even after the diary coupon, the OP has paid more for the Intensely Creamy yogurts than if they'd bought them in M at £1 each. Their branded shop has cost them more at T than it would have done at M and they have paid more for it.
CS have now put £6 in the post for me, that being the precise difference on the 6 packs I bought.
So end result £3 for 6 packs of 4 after the dairy coupon. Which is what I was aiming for. And it feels a whole lot better than spending £9 on these (the very idea!)
Thanks Savvy. I consulted your BG post 390 before I went out. xx“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

Unfortunately my employer is not one of those that are signed up to the scheme. Perhaps yours is, which is why the under £10 offer.
I will have a proper look on Monday at the details. The last time they had it on offer one of the Elite used it, it is a shame to let it go to waste x100 -

My Dutch friends DGC and DC will be looking forward to it. I will be looking forward to celebrating my DGS's 11th birthday.0 -
