6 Cans of Diet/Cherry/Zero and normal Coke £1.50 @ Iceland
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/6-cans-diet-cherry-zero-normal-coke-1-50-iceland-2341314
That's a normal price of 6 cans of branded soft drink in Iceland. Albeit that prices on 7Up/Pepsi etc. did go up from £1.37/£1.50 to £2.00 and back down a little from that.
If you don't want Coke and, instead, it must be 7Up for you, 6 pack cans of that are now, excluding any CB offer, glitch or something that comes up better elsewhere, it seems best bought in T - and ought to be possible to use as a TBG filler against A if you are bothered with such a thing.
You'd have to have a main T near you. You can't brand match or price match T from anywhere else, and A does not stock them so can't APG vs T there. And W it seems would charge you more than twice as much since it's a T promotion half-price offer and therefore you don't get any Brand Price Match at all on the shelf! W £3.19 (that's what the price is, no point arguing:D - take your custom to T!:p), T £1.59.0 -
It was a lot of fun at the time as you can see from the posts that followed it...now we just get snide comments from posters like yourself.
as you were.
Not sure where I was snidy.
I thought I was quite blatant that I wasn't one that liked your panties. :rotfl::rotfl:

Zippy is that an offer price or promotional price please?
whats the difference
its a white sel which normally means its a normal price.but short term i think.
just a thought, if i said sel was £2.50 and scanning at £1.50 we would all be there in a shot, feeding our addiction. lol0 -

Cheeky how they can claim brand price match even though they are £1.59 in T, brand price match excludes promotions and therefore they don't have to be T's price!
7 Up 6x330ml
Brand Price Match
£3.19
Or... you could just stand outside W announcing loudly to all that pass by that "Waitrose are £3.19 on the 7 Up 6 cans and they are £1.59 in Tesco!", until you got moved on and got ignored by everyone else who heard you anyway as they thought you were daft!
You'd be there though, helping prevent consumers from being misled and from paying W about twice the price on a "Brand Price Match". Although, technically, all the terms are there on the websites and in store material so it isn't misleading although people may not realise or know what they are.
It rather gives impression, don't you feel?, that you don't need to shop around and look in T because brand prices are matched. Though it excludes promotions and therefore they are not matched, but you were reassured that there was a Brand Price Match and so didn't feel you needed to check in T anymore.0 -
I cannot remembee whether I was posting on the old thread highlighted back then (search still not working for me!!) and haven't time to read all the way through ... however, if anyone has any rose tinted glasses (RTC/1p or otherwise
) even a quick skim of the first few pages highlights it discussed similar topics though more T focused (and had some of the similar issues/challenges) as it does now.
Equally friendly too :A.

I don't know if this is news to anyone, but it is to me so I thought I'd better mention it.
Last week I did a cc. I knew that I had around £15 of my £100 limit that I could claim for October so I did a shop that I expected would return £10+.
I did the shop and claimed the apg only to get the dreaded "You have reached your monthly £100 limit"..:o
I had no idea why, however I eventually found out that my wife had claimed an apg for £15 a few days earlier, so I'm guessing that they must have gone by our address and put the overall limit on that.
However (and this is the interesting bit), I have just logged on to my account and I have been allowed to claim my apg from last week. So, if I am right, this might mean that in future you can go over your monthly £100 limit and then just claim the excess the following month. It might mean that if your calculations are out, you won't lose the amount over £100, you just have to reclaim it again the following month.
No real proof as yet, this is just me guessing, however it certainly seems that way..;)0 -
