This new Tesco system suits me so much better , planned a £24 ish shop for tomorrow and I will pay about £4.20 with coupons ,c/b and price match.
So much better than getting a voucher.
I realise it won't suit some people though but I am happy :rotfl:

Yes, I am becoming reconciled to it too. As long as I am sure that things will compare, it makes it much easier to get fillers which won't get in the way of the comparison so now I just get ten items and don't bother about the extra two. I tend to get the 20p items and pop them into the food bank on my way home.

The only problem is that with the Barilla I had a fair number of the £1 vouchers and didn't do sums in advance so with one shop got very worried that I would end up with a negative balance!

    What happened squigs?:o

I just thought he had his eyes closed:o

    Poppy:A

First one retina blew, so he had to have the eye removed. After lots of complications and having to go back for more surgery, the same happened with the other eye. Again he had to go back for further surgery after the initial operation.:(:(

Fortunately he has now fully recovered and manages very well:)

    I should have explained better.

I mean a points bonus voucher for example spend £10 and get 500 points.

Do these come back off if you have to return the item?

short answer is no but some CS will ask for your card

    My little shop.
Nice little girl on the checkout. When the apgs didn't scan she split them up into £2/£1/and the odd pence and put them through as coupons.Didn't call a supervisor.I don't know if she did it off her own bat or not.

Anything under £2 or £3 (im not sure of the limit) doesn't require an SV at a manned till.

my locals do them all manually on the GM's orders. he said that it's far too complicated and the tills don't work as they should.

It's not play place to train them...... ;)
