Nice little girl on the checkout.When the apgs didn't scan she split them up into £2/£1/and the odd pence and put them through as coupons.Didn't call a supervisor.I don't know if she did it off her own bat or not.

Did you double points to buy the clothes? Did you use a bonus points voucher? Or are you just talking about basic nectar points?

Interesting fact about Sainsbob...if you ever have to exchange something you get the full value of points for the new goods put on your card. eg exchange something for £40 for something else for £40 and you get 40 points on a £0.00 transaction

Good question - mostly I am returning clothing but at the same time I am taking something else in exchange which is a different price.
Then the item I have exchanged might not be badly fitting as well so that is also returned.

Usually I do a clothing shop alongside a grocery shop for which I also have a variety of till spit extra points and double points etc - if anyone asks when I do the first return I say the bonus points were for cat food - I am always buying cat food
no one has ever asked

If I use my purple American express nectar credit card the points are adjusted
