  • Good Afternoon,

Having a sit down and tea in a Christmas cup.

Happy with my shopping adventures this weekend, thanks to you all......... Wine, cheese, pasta, etc.

(Found the Xmas mag in T at last!)

So tired! Wish we were away for Xmas. We have had some great Xmas trips......Goa, Disney, Barbados....DH reminds me that the holidays have got us into this mess, but the memories are priceless and we are slowly recovering thanks to the Elite.

Have a restful evening. HE x

I find Sainsburgs sooo much easier to use vouchers than Tesky. I went last night to tesky and they would only let me use 2 vouchers as the cider was on special. Even the check out girl could not work out why only 2, as I was buying 5 bottles. Wasnt happy, but could not just ask for them to be removed from shop as I was combining it with a wine shop and needed the 10 items.

Talk about the 100 points at Tesco :)

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/100-argos-gift-cards-plus-700-bonus-tesco-clubcard-points-worth-upto-28-00-instore-2337625

Not a good deal as I would only buy £50 a time and use as many 100 points as you can :)

Lovely to see pictures of our mascot Poppy.

Very windy here as well. Not bad for wombling though.
I explained to my sister about the wine on friday so she did two shops. One produced £17 bg and the other about £15 because she did what I told her not to and bought 2 branded items.
She was a bit miffed that the bill didn't come to enough to use her £6 off £40 so decided to do another shop today.

I get a phone call that the shop only had 4 blossom hill so I spent about 15 minutes going through the other ones.Eventually she found 2 yellow tail chardonnay

She was pleased to get £15 odd bg anyway.:rotfl:
Hi savvy, can i be your surrogate sister and ring you up when I get stuck? I'd be very pleased with a £15 bg, but a bit frustrated if I knew I could have had more!

  • Build-A-Bear have the costume for £10 if you can find a similar sized bear. There's a "make your own furry friend" coming up at 6pm so may have reduced bears?

Yes lights, music, turkey, pressies oh and that nice magnum of prosseco from morribobs for £10 so I can use my new champagne flutes. Well not new, I purchased a dozen from the car boot sale in June for a pound. Then off to Egypt for a month

    will it be all inclusive?

Has Egypt got the all clear from the home office?

there is a lot to be said for leaving the country in the winter months, the lack of light and the constant rain is so miserable
