Yes we choose our till girl very carefully and I only had 6 bottles. I told the till girl they were £2 each so she scanned them at that.
I then gave her a handful of old gift cards to sift through to see if anything was left on them, nothing. I then asked for £15 in nectar points to come off and then a final £10 gift card so I don't think she had the head space by then anyway to worry about the price of cider :D

we had clothing (sadly could not wait until Tu sale on Tuesday and a £15 Greenalls gin bottle (used nectar points for this :D )

Ah, well done. Taking mine to T's again this week to be on the safe side. My experience at S with these was less than helpful! xx

so once the visitors have come and gone then the decorations and tree will come down again before you set off?

this is a difficult one, one I've not thought about before.
Before we go away there is at least a week of house scrubbing, trips to and from charity shop and recycling centre, bed linen washing etc so the house is immaculate - having to put up and take down decorations inbween doing all of this has put me off going away over Christmas :D

Yes thats my plan. Little kiddies will love a tree when they get their pressies wont they? I normally give pressies when we get back but we have an extended holiday this year so not fair to make them wait until mid jan. Oh always says I clean the bungalow in case we get burglars, I dust and polish, wash and scrub, when we get back its half inch of dust. Mind my daughter may come here for a few days while we are away, to spend some time with her nieces and nephews so I have to factor that in too. We just hate christmas in UK as we have spent so much time living in the sun

Afternoon . not good I got frightened walking home from mums in pouring rain and high winds. Poppy kept struggling and trying to shelter and I was frightened her collar was going to come off she isn't allowed off her lead when we out. So god knows what would have happened if she had near the main roads .( Was so glad when we both arrived home :) I got some pics of Poppy but phone/laptop being silly and wont transfer over. Will try later ;)

Very wild here now , we're on the very top of a hill quite exposed  so happy that you and our Poppy got home safely x
