Five Guys burgers are far better anyway.

I used to think that until I had a Bleeker Street burger *drools* (also on Deliveroo for any lazy Londoners here :))

I mentioned it, in passing, probably about a week ago (weeks go by...:rotfl::)). I'll stand corrected if I'm wrong - I think I read somewhere that if it was from an online shop, you could only use it online.

Correct, BM instore can only be spent instore, BM online can only be spent online (http://www.sainsburys-live-well-for-less.co.uk/brand-match/frequently-asked-questions).

Russian Standard Vodka 70cl - Black Friday deal between 27th-30th November £11.00 @ One Stop stores

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/russian-standard-vodka-70cl-black-friday-deal-between-27th-30th-november-11-one-2331077

    Why?

I'd be looking for £10 on that, to make it better than £15 per 1L.
The same product, but in 1L, is £15 at M at the moment so that would work out better price per L. £11 is... £15.71 per L!

Obviously, you will spend less if you buy the 70cl at £11 and pay that. However, over time, it will work out work that buying the Russian Standard 1L at £15. It's £18.50 in A - it could compare against M.

I've read the hotdeals post - it's not a really good price at all and £11 for 70cl is one that I would immediately reject - especially as it's no good it matching an expensive price that has been on at Sains earlier.

So, from my POV, it's the absolute flip-side of the coin and the total contrary argument. It's not a really good price and it's precisely not a good price because it matches one that Sains were offering previously. Rather than that latter justification being used to support the opposite position, it confirms, to me, precisely why that position is not the case!

    Where's the menu bar?

It doesn't really bother me as I don't have much time for private messaging, just don't get offended if I never reply to anything, it's because I never saw it in the first place.

At the top of this thread just above the title: Everyone lost in the Ether II there is a green menu bar. Under that is the words "Welcome" and your user name, then "You last visited ..." then in blue the words "Private Messages" - hold down the Ctrl key and click on the words "Private Messages".

But if it is a local one-stop, you would possibly save more than 71p of petrol, and time, which is priceless, if that is all you needed at the time. :)

Just seen that Russian Standard 1L is now on at £15 on sains.co.uk.
In other words, a better price per unit than the £11 offer on the 70cl that the poster reports seeing:rotfl:.

    That's now £16! So: £15 for 1L or £16 for 700ml?

But, if I'm already going to A, M, or now S I see has the 1L at £15, I may as well pick it up there whilst doing my other shopping.

Good deal for those that want champagne but not the risk of a mystery box

They forgot to use an £18 off £60

I think I was also aiming at the point that, just because something is labelled a "Black Friday" deal, doesn't mean that it is at a good price. Sometimes people go for these sorts of sales and end up paying more than what the normal offer prices are at other times.
