This also is true

Just seen that Russian Standard 1L is now on at £15 on sains.co.uk.
In other words, a better price per unit than the £11 offer on the 70cl that the poster reports seeing:rotfl:.
That's now £16! So: £15 for 1L or £16 for 700ml?
Lidl have 1L Rachmanikoff vodka (or similar name) £13.99, would combine with the £5 off £40 coupons.0 -

I think the rule is that the value of food/ non booze has to be at least equal to the value of the saving/ discount0 -

When using a promotional money off voucher the value of the goods other than spirits, liqueurs or wine when on any buy 6 save 25% multibuy must be at least equal to the money off offered by the promotional voucher.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Yes, that's a good one!:T:T
That's always the area I tend to miss - Lidl.
Although the Russian Standard on Avs S (if I could trust the computer scan) or vs M (if I could trust the price collectors) should work out at £13.50. That's obviously cheaper than straight £13.99 price, but the £5 off might make a difference there. Depends what else you need to buy - sometimes the cond.spends can, if people are not careful, simply have people spending more than they would otherwise have done. Obviously, if you were already spending £35, then you would add £5 of 'free' stuff and use the cond.spend. If however, you only needed to spend £20, then spending £15 more simply to use the cond.spend may not be sense.
On the basis that £13.99 is (almost) 35% of £40, use of a £5 off voucher, if buying £40 worth of products, is equivalent to about £1.75 off on one vodka. Nominally making it almost £12.24 (a little bit more but under £12.25). Although some of that will be lost for anything extra your shop originally come to above £40.
If however you only wanted a bottle of vodka, but bought much more in order to use the £40, and spent £35 (after the voucher), then one vodka you would otherwise have bought and not bought anything else(:money:?) may as well have cost you £33.26! As you are spending £22.01 more than you need to! Just buy it at the cheaper price of £13.99 and forget the cond.spend that has you buying much more else! Spending £22.01 for £1.75 makes no sense in that sense! If you wanted one bottle of vodka only, but got drawn into using a cond.spend, then it may as well be a net loss of £20.26. Although the other items you would have bought do have a value and can be used for something. Nonetheless, there is no point buying other items that you do not need.0 -

Nice to see you back squills
is it just me or are there more AEs than 'genuine people' on here these days?
spirits and liqueurs excluded but it is possible to get 25% off when you buy meal deals. I did it earlier this year using a £18 off £60 and 25% off wine. it got messed up by my puddings not being in stock and no subs but sill a decent saving
Better saving this week would be the Ts expresses that are selling Nicholas feulatti (sp) champers at £9 a bottle with 25% off 6 bottles from Wednesday. I have enough fizz but this is a decent deal and if you can drink fizz, then you can drink champers for as cheap as a bottle of mediocre prosecco for the same price or less. My local T express manager confirmed they are having the deal on0 -

'Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.''I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Well, I'm fed up with the people buying useless items, I'm fed up with getting little from wombles just now, I'm fed up with the price collectors, and I'm fed up with M for being far more expensive on the items that A has "cheaper", so I'd rather just go to M later and do it all again.
Fed up with much of their current price collection comparing against M much higher - and may it soon disappear!
Goodnight:wave::rotfl:.0
