Quite funny. You may recall yesterday I quoted T about a Brand Guarantee issue and they said they were sending me £5. Well, I thought that was the last of it, but I ended up arguing with two different people/sections and I have just had another email

"I would like to apologise to you for taking so long to reply I have been out of the business.

I understand your frustrations with the brand match results ,at store level we are unable to have any in put into this .

I am going to send you a gift card as a goodwill gesture for £10"

    s
If this works out I will get £15 in gift card for a £2.50 mistake. One thing neither of them asked me, but I would have admitted to if they had asked, was that I actually returned the squares in disgust because the CS was driving me mad!

The brand match results? They seem to think they work for Sains.:rotfl::rotfl:.
Left hand does not know right...:D

I hadn't noticed that - they really have no idea what they are doing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Looks like it would have to be over £20 after the brand guarantee (as it is now called) is taken off hth

It does look like that way, but is it? Because don't bogofs allow you to reach a cond.spend, by double-counting, even though the price of one is later taken off? I thought there was something in which you can reach/exceed cond.spend amounts even though there is a 'discount' for a bogof for example.

I think someone said earlier that it is AFTER the "pp". Personally I would go and ask Customer Services, they won't have the foggiest but will probably guess wrong, then you can go back to them after and complain.

Someone did say that - I've been saying it, but I might be wrong. (If it turns out I'm wrong, I now wish I'd left my Tvs M list the way it was rather than altering it into a new format. However, I think you can pop the italicised items into your basket on msm, as if shopping at T, and see msm's running total if you need to find the total T price, before the TBG, should it be that you can take cond spends off that and then the discount is taken off, rather than it being my understanding that the bill is automatically deducted and then you are to pay and...oops, you have not reached cond spend amount:(.)

    I agree about CS there:rotfl:.

Malibu is £14 in Morribos for a litre so now is a good time

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?query=malibu&store=Morrisons

Has it not been £14 "offer" price for a while? Personally, I think that is an overpayment for Malibu - is not 1L of Malibu £11 elsewhere? That's the price you should be aiming at - not £14 which, for Malibu, is expensive. I think, from my previous checks (of which people will be unaware) ruling out Morries and not getting onto the list as I've kept finding it cheaper elsewhere.

EDIT: Or am I thinking of something else? There is one I've been ruling out M on as it's been cheaper elsewhere. Let me have a think and a look...

SECOND EDIT: It's frustrating, because I can imagine an image of the product, but not its name, on the shelf - I can see it, on the shelf, in my mind. I don't know if it is Malibu or not - I'm thinking of a blue, white and biege or cream livery - someone help me out? It's not Malibu is it but some form of coconut rum? I've tried "Coconut 1L" on msm and nothing relevant has come up.

Anyway, Malibu has been cheaper before, even according to msm - £13 in March so it's not getting onto any list:rotfl:. I don't trust those price graphs as they don't show the cheapest price. I've seen items that have just gone off a very good offer and the price graphs do not show it going down to the low price it actually did.

Malibu is a white bottle with brown/ orange text and picture - no blue to be seen.

I know - I'm thinking of something else. Some opaque bottle? Something has been - something in that area, on which M have had a 'special offer' (may not be running at the moment) but may be about two or three months ago and, each time, I found A was already several pounds cheaper (than M's cut price - so the M offer, that I kept writing down, was no good and I kept ruling it out - this is it - this is when I need my notes but I no longer keep them! It's why I normally hoarded stuff in the past - you never know when it might come into use, and, yet again, the very moment I've got rid of stuff, it's always been needed again - yet if I kept it there, in piles of paper, I'd never need or look at it again:rotfl:).
