dialaphone and online billing
recieved my phone from DAP today, rang O2 to check some details and they told me that DAP have set me up on online billing and itemised billing would be extra.....
1)Do DAP accept online bills for cashbacks, cannot see in their T&C's
2)Their paperwork says should be free itemised billing.
Guess this will be an e mail tried their C.S.number what a nightmare!!!
begining to wish i had not bothered with them

DAP terms state 'original bill, however when I had an O2 online tariff only a few months ago I also received a paper copy.
Itemised billing should be free so try ringing and asking to speak to a Customer Services Manager on 0800 0928244.
Think I'll check my details as well now...0 -
sent an email to cc@dap, but have spoken to o2 again this morning, will now get a paper bill as well, but will cost me 99pence per month, although DAP paperwork says free they had failed to pass that onto o2, not o2's fault they cannot give it for free until DAP says so, have to wait and see DAP's response if not will phone and ask for customer service manager.......sanfly0

Strange when i spoke to O2 they told me i could not have a paper bill without itemised billing as well, which is £0.99 per month extra :huh:sanfly0 -
This is the reply I had from O2:
Thanks for emailing us about your paper bills. You'll receive a paper bill each month.
I'm sorry but you don't have the Itemised Billing Service on your account.
If you want your call details itemised on your monthly bills, there will be a charge of £0.99 per month.
If you want this service added to your account, please email us or call us on 08702 410 202 and we'll set it up for you.
Just spoke to DAP however and they said that I've definately got itemised billing on both accounts.
My first bills are due soon so I think I'll wait to see what comes.
Will update when I get them.0 -
my god how did you manage to talk to them ............expensive call to customer services or via sales.............sanfly0

Via sales on the number I posted below.
Don't know what phone you bought, but I got 2 D900i's. Now I find out that the document viewer that's widely advertised to come with it, doesn't! This has been confirmed by Samsung - can't blame this one on DAP. Neither can you change the themes on the D900i's.
Not going to jump to conclusions yet but these might be finding themselves on Ebay before too long. Back to SE or chance my luck with a Nokia

I emailed DAP last night on cc@dialaphone.com. I received a phone call today stating that they have checked with O2 and confirmed that it is O2 who have made the error.
Chaps from DAP said that they had rectified this and if O2 have charged on the initial bill for itemised billing then it will be refunded.

I was as surprised as you are
.
Here's a copy of my email to them:
Hello,
My order for 2 x Samsung D900i Red arrived on 24th August 2007.
Details are as below:
MobileNo Date Order Type Status Chosen Delivery Date
XXXXX XXXXXX 19 Aug 2007 New Phone Order Despatched 24 Aug 2007
XXXXX XXXXXX 19 Aug 2007 New Phone Order Despatched 24 Aug 2007
Part of the package you advertised was that itemised billing was
included for free.
I contacted O2 to confirm everything was in order and they informed
me (I have the email if you would like me to forward a copy) that
itemised billing is not set up on these phone accounts.
Please would you clarify the position and if itemised billing is not
currently set up for both accounts please arrange for it to be done.
Please let me have your reply by 31st August 2007.
Thank you,
Now I'm going to try and send both phones back (not happy with them really) under the 7 working day peace of mind guarantee. We'll see how this goes...0
