£6 per hour and no. Why would they pay for you to have a second telephone line?0

it was a rquirment they said to have when filling out the application to have a phone line?0

We've only got the one phone line, most people know to ring us on it before 6 or after that it's get us on the mobiles till the shift finishes at 10! Not too much of a problem really - and certainly not worth getting a second phone line installed for, in our experience.:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

Yes a phoneline is a requirement, if you don't have one then you do not have part of the equipment to do the job. It does not mean that they will provide one if you do not have one. Not as though companies will "give you educational grades or experience" if you don't have the right ones for the job is it?0 -
Hiya, I don't really post here much, but i've been lurking for ages!
I've just completed my training and am starting my shift tonight. It has been very daunting, on wednesday night i completely lost the plot and paniced on the phone. It has got better, but i still feel very and lost and thrown in at the deep end! How does everybody else feel about the system we have to follow? I did solve one problem on Friday, but i feel it took me round the houses a little bit, but we are not allowed to devitate from it
I also feel the call flow isn't very natural and there are lots of silences when you are checking details, i suppose once i get faster, that won't be so much of a problem.
One tip i have is post it notesi have about 15 of them stuck around my monitor, on where to find varoius things... that's helped quite a bit!

I have filled in the online application over the weekend and am wondering how long it takes them to reply?
Also, are you answering queries for a big company? I am really intrigued to know what the nature of the phonecalls is?
cheers

I have just got the phone and headset out to have another look and can't seem to see where the headphones fit , as there is no adapter with them they will not fit into the phone?? I missed the adapter which was in the box for the phone socket, and MBM reminded me! Am I missing something here..?????0

Yep look at the side of the base, your telephone line will plug into the left side of it via the lead that comes with the base and the headset connects to the port on the right hand side of the base.0
