    techmob,
im doing the inbound sales too. bit worried why i havent got the workbooth cd yet. most people on that meeting place had said they got theirs. i got the 3 emails from amy, 1 about additional info (pay and stuff), 1 about referees/discloser scotland and 1 about training/shifts info.
what should i expect from the cd when i do get it?

    jazz26,
do let me know when and how you solve this problem about the router. what training times did you pick? is your internet via dsl/cable or phone socket. (not great on technical stuff)

snranj- I'm starting on the 7th July too! I'm having the same problem regarding the router as well. I'm with virgin media and using the modem they've given to me. Would anyone know what I need to buy?

    Thanks

I'm with Virgin Media and have had no problems connecting to WorkBooth using their router (until tonight but that's another story !!) I just put a wireless router in line and everything worked just fine. I've tried a couple of different ones and all have worked.

snranj- I've got cable broadband from virgin. Not too hot on the tech stuff myself either. I'm about to have a look on ebay for a router and will let you know if it works.

I've done my references but I have to submit a paper application for the disclosure as i've lived at my address for less than 12 months, still waiting for the form to arrive in the post though. I spoke to my recruiter about this and she said that this was ok.

phoned netgear coz my modem has a built-in router. when i do the workbooth assessment and that error message appears, it says i need to place a router between me and the internet.

could it be that my router is not set correctly to my pc? i feel like ive hit a brick wall and cant resolve this issue. :wall:
netgear were not helpful. they said i need to get my port numbers and check if they are all open... how do i do that??

any1 who knows plz advise me!!!!
