Hi staindude,

I didn't get any confirmation of receipt after completing the matchpoint assessment and the recruiter didn't disclose my score- all she said was that my test result was great.

I'm not sure what times the training classes are scheduled for. The 7th July training date hasn't officially been posted however in an email from my recruiter it was said that the training is 20 hours per week for 4 weeks...Hope this helps!

Cheers, well I am kind of kicking myself for not coming back and applying for this sooner as I may have got onto the May training. Still, you can't moan about what you did or didn't do in the past. 7th of July will be a bit far in the future to commit to depending on the hours, we'll see though, I'm getting ahead of myself!

Hi everyone,

I had the interview for the tech support position for TT@Home. The next day I had a call saying they are still waiting for the schedule of the next training. They will let me know if anything suits my availability. There wasn't any mention of the interview.

Since they are talking about the training, does it mean they were satisfied by my interview? no idea.

Also my computer failed the evaluation. The following are the reasons.
• Your computer lacks enough memory. It needs to be at least 512 MB, and your current configuration is running at: 256 MB
• You must have a local router between you and the internet to run the Workbooth Software. It seems that your IP Address (/92.16.119.42) is a direct connection to the internet. Either disable this connection, or place a router between it and the Internet
Please advice me as what to do next? I am sure I came across the same thing somewhere in this thread. I couldn't find it when I need it.

Is it going to cost me much?

The TT wanted to know, what I have done about the above issue. I told them, that I wanted to take the necessary steps, once I get the offer of the job.( I was sure I could find the solution here.) But they said, unless otherwise this problem is dealt with, they cannot offer anyone any job.

I wolud like to know, is this the regular norm?

Has anyone had to do the modifications before they knew for sure that they are getting the job?

I am not sure, I want to spend money without knowing for certain.

Hi messenger- I had exactly the same results after completing the workboot assessment. Regrding the RAM, i purchased a 512mb from PC W**** for £16.99 this was very easy to install and took me about 15 mins.

Regarding the internet connection, I 'm using a mobile modem, however when the recruiter asked during the interview I stressed that I would be more than happy to change to dsl/cable if my application was successful.

This seemed fine with my recruiter and she offered me the job at the end of the interview. The next training date hasn't been officially posted yet, but she knew that it starts on the 7th July. She only told me this in order for me to sort out my broadband before training begins.

The shift hours cover 4pm to 11pm and you will need to be available to work within those times as far as I know.

Hey Messenger, when did you first apply? I did my application on Tuesday and have been anxiously waiting for a reply.

Thing is, I want to be working full-time by July so if the training is any earlier than 6pm then it won't be possible. If they offer me a job before I get a day job I'm not sure what I'll do as it'll be silly to knock some work back but it'll make it even harder to find a full time position if I'm starting something else at 4pm.

I don't remember exactly when I applied. I think it was in the middle of May. But I got a call the very next day, to fix a time for the interview.
