    i actually get an email back from workbooth assessment to say it was sucessful - by the way this has now happened three times now, and in fact i have had two emails today, one in the morning after i completed yet another technical assessment and one at 5.50 tonight !!! saying it had been successful,

  • Hi guys. Well after reading the thread i decided to apply on Monday. It's up my street as i did 2 years in a call centre so i thought i would give the sales vacancy a go. Well they phoned me the same day and asked if i was still interested (i may have a short attention span but it was only a few hours previously that i had applied!) Said yes. Did all the assessments last night. Had a call this evening to say i had passed and could i join the conference call tomorrow morning at 11am so i said yes. The woman i spoke to (lisa) said that the technical assessments were not getting sent back to them so could i do it again another 3 times to make sure. i think the non return of the assessments are giving them a headache at their end.
    anyway will be on the conference call in the morning. Anyone else on that one?? if so my name is Ellen so HELLO!!!!
    Oh a bit silly i know but i forgot to double check the shifts available. It is 20 hours a week isn't it???

    Well i got through to Live Help and asked them why i was having problems applying as i couldn't see my location.

    They asked where i lived and i told them Derry, Northern Ireland. They said they only have vacancies for Belfast!!

    Does this not defeat the purpose of working from home?

    Whats the point of working from home if you have to be based in a certain city? :confused:

    Dont they know that people in Derry have phone lines and the internet too :rolleyes: We are still waiting on DVD players being sold here though

    Dont panic you can apply too :)

    Ok if you go to hirepoint.com/athome click apply now and then do
    a search for jobs in the UK, two jobs will come up

    @home customer service rep
    and
    @home inbound sales rep

    ignore the locations codes
    GB-ENG-London, GB-ENG-Crewe, GB-SCO-Glasgow
    thats just a admin error I guess, as long as your in the
    UK you can apply straight away for the jobs mentioned
    above.
