Its hourly rate paid so you earn different ammounts depending on what hours you do. If you work 20 hours you will get approx £200 per fortnight depending on tax and NI deductions.

The email about CRB was only a link to the Scottish CRB bureau. You then have to apply yourself. If you have lived at your address for 12 months or more you can apply online, if not you have to phone/email them and they will send you a form. Note that the latter method takes a looong time. If you have a definite training date, then (imo) I would start the ball rolling on getting your CRB.

In that case it's beyond me!! How very odd! Try leaving it for 10 minutes, and try with an internet window open and with it closed, oh and try something different ie if you have firefox try explorer and vice versa.

I know the Scotland CRB are really bad at service!!   I rang them yesterday and you press option 1 and it says to leave your details on the answer machine for a form to be posted out. I am not holding out much hope!!! I shall ring them first thing if it's not here and have a right go. Although there isn't an option to speak to a real person!! Failing that Friday I shall just attempt to fill out the online form and see how far I get.

Have you had experience with this??? Allegedly they will send you the form! Where's the customer service of posting forms out on the same or next day?
