Re: the Grange St. Pauls - this hotel is brand new and has been in "soft opening" because there will be, as I understand it, leisure and spa facilities in the lower ground floor which are still being completed and only opening in the New Year. Grange's own site doesn't even mention them yet under the description for the St. Pauls, oddly, but as a 5* hotel I can't believe they've cancelled that part of the project.

I believe this is The Landmark, near Marylebone Station. Not booked personally, but it may have been confirmed earlier in the thread.

Was wondering, when through to the booking page on lastminute secret hotels it says twin/double. Is this also a lucky dip or can you specify what you want later? or hope there's one available when you check in?
