This is definitely the Melia White House, very close to tube stations at Regent's Park (Bakerloo), Great Portland Street (Circle; Hammersmith & City; Metropolitan) Warren Street (Northern; Victoria) so very well connected. Suggest shop around for possible better deals than lastminute.com including hotel's own website.

I'm stumped on a possible bargain. The title and description are very abstract, but I can gather it's got a top-floor restaurant with panoramic views of the city, the rooms are standard double with city view, they offer valet parking, concierge, gym, hair salon. Tried narrowing some of these things down on Booking.com, but it's not working. If it's any of the hotels it's coming up with then it's a 50%+ discount. Seems to be in the region of St Paul's and Tower Bridge.

Any ideas? Can't be many hotels near there that are all enought to feature 'panoramic views' and have a restaurant on the top floor, surely?

Most likely candidate I've found so far is the Crowne Plaza, Shoreditch. For the money it would seem about right. The description is close, but some of the facilities listed by Lastminute aren't on Crowne Plaza's site. The outside hope would be the DoubleTree by Hilton, but for the price I'd be stunned! The description matches, but £100 off? I'll believe it when I see it.

What's the lastminute.com title and first few words of the description? Is any of it included above absolutely word for word? Otherwise very difficult to trace without this information.

Basically, I get 2 for 1 with IHG. I'm looking at these deals to see if anything can better that; I'm looking at about £180 for the 16th and 17th March in either the Bloomsbury/Kings Cross or Oxford Circus Holiday Inns, so basically what is the best I can get for up to around £200?

The third hotel is the one my last post was about. Further details about it say it's near St Paul's, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, The Barbican, Hoxton Square and The Law Courts. It's also detailed as having a gym, concierge service, valet-parking, a hair salon and a restaurant on the top floor with "panoramic views of the city". The rooms are "standard double with city view". From this description the only possible matches I can find are the DoubleTree Tower Bridge and the Crowne Plaza Shoreditch. Neither seem to match 100%.
