I notice from the lastminute.com website that the top secret hotel search is for hotels of £150 upwards. Is there someway to broaden this search to includes cheaper deals?
Thanks for reading and any replies. xx0 -
I've booked many Top Sectret Hotels at a lot less than £150. It could be that they mean the full price is £150+?0

Stay near London's attractions at a great rate!
You will find this modern hotel convenient for travel in, out and around London. Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Hyde Park are all just a short distance away..............
I thought it was this hotel before I booked it via lastminute.com and can now confirm that it's definitely:
The Park Plaza Victoria London
239 Vauxhall Bridge Road
London
SW1V 1EQ
The lastminute.com prices are about 25% less than the hotel website rates. I recommend taking the breakfast at an extra £10 per night for 2 people sharing a room. This is for the full English and is very good value.0 -
Not complaining (well, I am really)! but I have just booked a Top Secret Hotel on Last Minute.com. Paid my £129.60, and found we were booked into the Melia White House. Loverley....apart from I could have booked the room directly with them for £126!
It's not the money, it's just that I thought I would be getting a really good deal... ah well, live and learn - but just be aware that despite all the blurb, you are not necessarily getting a bargain!0 -
Can anyone recommend anything near the O2? I'm trying to find a hotel that does a family room for four with no luck so thought a top secret one and having two rooms would work. The only thing is I am clueless about the area. Thank you to anyone who can help.0

Hi all
Does anyone know which hotel this is? Looked on google, but no joy.
Short walking distance to West End's theatres, Oxford & Regents Str buzzing shopping area & Camden Town, this is the ideal place to explore London's multicultural activities. Here you find luxuriously appointed rooms matching everyone's wishes. Additionally to the 2 Rosette awarded fine dining restaurant, the hotel offers an elegant bar serving light snacks, drinks and cocktails at night while the brasserie restaurant offers breakfast buffet, lunch & dinner.
Confuzzled!

I think this is Melia White House mentioned 2 posts up.0 -
Fantastic newly refurbished hotel part of a well known international hotel chain. Located on the trendy and exciting Kensington High Street and walking distance to the museums, Westfield, both Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition centres. The hotel is a short taxi ride from the West End where you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife and the wonders of theatreland. Unwind in the brand new chic bar or enjoy an intimate dinner in the hotel's well known restaurant.0

I might be wrong, but after hours of searching for the identity of this hotel for myself, i'm pretty definite that it is the PARK PLAZA SHERLOCK HOLMES. I don't know why it took me so long to work out-the hotel & room facilities as listed on lastminute.com, and 422 trip advisor reviews for a hotel in that general location are identical to the TSH blurb! I haven't booked it so it hasn't been confirmed, however i'm pretty sure that it's a safe bet! Hope this helps!
I booked this 29/02/12 and it was the PARK PLAZA SHERLOCK HOLMES. I convinced myself it would be right as the Trip adivisor count on last minute.com was the same as if you searched on the trip advisor site using the full hotel name. My theory worked. I'm looking forward to my stay!0 -

"Contemporary hotel at the new business district" is the Hilton Canary Wharf. Standard Double Bed and Breakfast £111.25 per night; “minutes from the O2 arena. The hotel is on the doorstep of South Quay DLR station with a footbridge linked to Canary Wharf Underground Jubilee & Northern line.” Lastminute.com is not offering much of a deal; it’s only £123 per night on the hotel website for standard double B&B.
"Riverside hotel with pool opposite Canary Wharf" is the Hilton London Docklands. Standard Double Room Only, around £74 per night. About 5.3 miles from O2 and 0.5 mile from Canary Wharf Shopping Centre.
By the way the Holiday Inn Express Royal Docks does a family room (2 adults, 2 children) at a reasonable price and is close to Canning Town tube one stop away from North Greenwich for the O2.0
