For anyone about to book, there is a code for 20% that someone has posted on the forum - do a quick search to find it! I was going to book the hotel I mentioned above but it went up to £149. I then noticed the fantastic Landmark Hotel for £169 (top secret deal price) - after discount, £135!!

Excuses if this has already been posted, but do not want to trawl through 51 pages of posts to find out!!

I am pretty sure it is the Wyndham Grand London Chelsea Harbour hotel, as this is described on their website as the city's only five-star luxury all-suite hotel - and the description of the 'Top secret hotel' is an all suite hotel.


If so this will save me £75 in total from booking it direct/via comparison sites.

I might be wrong, but after hours of searching for the identity of this hotel for myself, i'm pretty definite that it is the PARK PLAZA SHERLOCK HOLMES. I don't know why it took me so long to work out-the hotel & room facilities as listed on lastminute.com, and 422 trip advisor reviews for a hotel in that general location are identical to the TSH blurb! I haven't booked it so it hasn't been confirmed, however i'm pretty sure that it's a safe bet! Hope this helps!

I'm trying to find some accommodation for a couple for Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th September in Central London. I was hoping to find something 4* (or better!) for around £100-£120 per night but I'm not having much success.

We'll be going to the Shaftesbury Theatre on Wednesday night, so ideally would be somewhere with good tube links to there.

Might prices go down if I leave it a day or two, or have I already left it too late and the current (high) prices mean a lot of places are full?

I've only used Secret hotels twice before and had good results with Thistle Royal Trafalgar and Crowne Plaza Kensington (thanks to this thread.) I'd be very happy to stay at either of those again, at the right price!
