Hi.. can anyone tell me the best time to book a secret hotel? Im looking to go to London the 9th July but wondered if prices went down closer to the date or if I should book now? The only hotel that seems to be coming up in my price range is the holiday inn bloomsbury. (£150 for 1 night) Do you think this is a good deal? Do more deals tend to come up closer to the date? Thank you. x

Hi there, I visited this thread some time ago and gathered that Tuesday prior to the weekend you need a hotel room seems to be when hotels are offering good discounts... but I've looked today and can't see anything! I was hoping to pay £100-130 for a night in London at the weekend (we are going to a restaurant in Grosvenor Sq for my hubby's bday) ...

Can anyone offer any help/insight?

I would book now. If you have a certain hotel in mind try comparing prices at Travelsupermarket. I found my hotel £70 cheaper that lastminute.com.
