The property is offering stunning views over London's iconic Tower Bridge. This is a luxurious accommodation within the famous Tower Bridge area. The hotel amenities include a 32 inch flat screen digital TV, individual climate control and king/queen sized beds

Just confirming that this definately is the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel. It is a new 5* hotel but lastminute shows it as a 4* on secret hotel search. Maybe pool is still being done or some facilities not available.

Not actually open yet ;) Aiming for the end of the month they're saying.
  • Hi all,

I'm going to London this weekend and need a hotel for Friday and Saturday night. I have held off booking in the hopes of getting a good deal this week...but there doesn't seem to be lots coming up. Should I wait much longer?

We are going to Les Mis on Saturday night so I'm thinking of somewhere near Covent Garden or Bloomsbury...but am open to suggestions!!

    Any advice is much appreciated!!!!

I'm thinking of booking this secret hotel for 2 nights next weekend.

    The description is as follows:

This hotel offers luxury facilities and great views over London for all travellers. Dining in the hotel's restaurant is a great experience, enjoy local and international dishes with exceptional service. All guests enjoy complimentary use of the swimming pool, gym, steam room and sauna.

From reading here, I believe it is the Grange City?

At the moment it is £250 for the 2 nights on lastminute. Can anyone tell me if this is likely to go down if I leave it a few more days? Or are the prices usually pretty static on lastminute.com. I have only ever booked a secret hotel once before, after discovering this thread and it was a great hotel (Royal Trafalgar) So thank you to everyone who posts the info on here!

Also, does anyone have any advice of any other good hotel deals for the dates I want? It's for 2 people, 13th and 14th May, need to be in London, the more central the better. My budget is max £300 but would prefer to spend around £220 if possible.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Kim

Try varying your seach between Asda travel (which often is really good and includes breakfast) , laterooms and lastminute. I reckon price may lower again. I have stayed at Grange City for £100 about 8 months ago by keep checking. Leaving it right to the last minute does not necessarily mean better bargains though so bear this in mind. I reckon you should get it for £160 .

Note. When you find your bargain make sure you go through topcashback or quidco as these also give you something for going through them, usually £5-7 ish.

Thanks Mandles. I haven't tried Asda travel, will have a look there too.

Stylish Kensington hotel ideal for museums - 4* - London

Treat yourself to a stay in one of London's most elegant districts, don't be fooled by the architecture on the outside of this hotel, inside it is a modern haven with a couple of great restaurants, bar and a little extra area to relax in which not all hotels can offer! If you have any energy left after hitting the nearby shops and attractions you can find an onsite fitness centre.

I've just booked this one for this weekend, 2 nights for £219. It's Crowne Plaza London Kensington.

I know it has been revealed before on the thread but thought it might help anyone who starts reading the thread from the last page!
