Someone gives up their time to offer advice and help and this is what they get in return. :(

    Wonder why i bother.

oh dear, just give up, and learn to read carefully in future rather than pick your own meaning of other people words. The tendency to quote, attack, and then insult anyone who offers an opinion that differs from your own is telling. You may dream about cri's and heat dissipation, but most people don't, they just want a bulb that cuts their electricity bill. This is not led business weekly, it's moneysavingexpert, anyone is allowed to 'barge in' as you put it, as it happens, I 'barged in' before either of you.

Anyone would think we were talking about a sophisticated piece of electronics the way you both go on about quality and cost of production, it's a lightbulb, a few bits of electronics soldered to a board and a bit of coloured plastic, they sell them everywhere now so the price is coming down, competition is a pain isn't it.

don't have to prove anything, if you are both experts in the market, you should know what's available at what price and when, and if not google it.

Let me guess..... Maybe you're a Scout and need to do a good deed every day? Oh, hang on, perhaps it's that link to your business in your profile? Couldn't be that, though, could it?

We've all given up our time here, some of us for much longer than others. I'll admit freely as a doddering old pensioner that it keeps me from Mr Alzheimer's door too, so not entirely without self -interest

However, I don't remember linking the cartoon to anyone specific; it was meant simply as a 'lighten-up' post, as things had become rather heated.
  • elstimpo, your knowledge is valued, although in this case I'm not convinced you were answering the OP's question.

Unfortunately we are talking about a sophisticated piece of electronics. You don't have the capacity to understand that i'm afraid.

You supposedly bought a LED Lamp from a supermarket that you think is brilliant that you refuse to link to or name. I think that speaks volumes.

Yep, i'm making a fortune out of posting advice and help about LED Lighting on here, backed up by my Posts Per Day count of : 0.13

The link you refer to, that you had to do a bit of work to find, isn't even the URL for my website, so thats how much importance i place on it.

This info really backs up your immature insults and accusations doesn't it?

No i wasn't. But some started recommending LED bulbs with high wattages as if to persuade the OP to give them a go and i posted some information that is factual and accurate to help anyone thinking of buying a powerful and high wattage LED Lamp.

I thought it was relevant and helpful.

Here is some unsophisticated and elementary information about LED Lifespan - you know, a few bits of electronics soldered to a board and a bit of coloured plastic

    Knock yourself out.

you are still reading words that aren't there.

Do you think posting rude, arrogant and condescending posts is good for business?

    It's a lightbulb, not a Mars lander.
