  • Another option might be to see if the Iberia site has different pricing.

Iberia doesn't have many direct flights and not at the right time either. I really don't want to change, it's such a waste of time for a short trip.

Monarch are one of the worst airlines for delays, cancellations and telling you to get lost when you have a legitimate claim under EC 261/2004, and rowdy flights to Ibiza, I always avoid them.

I guess it'll be an experience then! Luckily I'm going just before the season begins so there will be a lot less rowdy people going at that time.

I looked at ratings for the flights and Monarch was ranked just below BA and Iberia was ranked really low. All budget and non budget airlines will have their downsides I guess.

But they do offer BA flights when they return prices. Not always priced the same.

My experience with Monarch has been good overall. Certainly no worse than any other airline I have flown with.

I've had a decent experience with Monarch when using them for work. If it was good enough for our high profile presenter I'm sure it's good enough for me!

I'm going to book my flights shortly!
