Welcome Harry, that did make me chuckle, glad you're ok.

The weather here is horrid, the wind isn't too bad but the rain is very heavy with more to come. Apart from about 5 minutes at lunchtime it has been dark and gloomy.

Went to collect my new reading specs today, they are magic, I think I will need to put the font of the kindle back down!

So glad it's Friday, I'm going to read and relax. Just hoovered the floorboards upstairs ready for the new stair carpet to be fitted tomorrow.

    Have a good weekend.
  • :hello: Good evening everyone,

Welcome Harry your early comment made me laugh, do hope you weren't hurt.

    hugging.gif hugs to everyone,
Hester glad the family are coping and hope the funeral goes smoothly.
Mrs TA good to hear Mr TAs treatment went as well as expected.
    LW hoping you feel better.

Well, I am so glad its Friday. Work is busy but good, our numbers are going up which is good news, but we need another member of staff, not sure we will get one, so I have agreed to do an extra hour each day, for which I will be paid, so that is good for me as I need all the extra money.

DS is working this evening until the pub closes, but apparently is thinking about finding a job with more regular hours.

DD is at home, she has brought her new boyfriend around again:rotfl: He seems a nice lad, and I suppose if they are here we know what they are up to!!

Well, I think we have some of the storm here in Kent this afternoon. It is very windy and the temperature has dropped a lot so we have the heating on.

Have a good evening everyone x.

  • Don't know if you are watching Children in Need? The piece that was just on about the hospice in Balloch is where I go to help out every Thursday, such a fantastic place.

I am presuming Dumplings DD15 is Darling Daughter who is 15. (unless she has 15 daughters )
    .

Yes that would be very scary to have that many daughters lol (oh dear Lord, the hormones!!!), it does indeed refer to their age.

I have a DD12, DD14 and a DD15 as well as my eldest who is DD28. Just to confuse things, my DD12 turns 13 in a couple of weeks so it will truly be the house of teens :eek::eek:.
