its 28 days for an appeal to a BPA member

the difficulty here may be that half the car park is overseen by a BPA member (say the aldi part) and the other half could be an IPC member (the other part where the driver parked)

in any case, just send the template letter from the NEWBIES thread , because this is a postal notice there is no reason to delay appealing

Oh no I wouldn't but thanks for the heads up! I bet the owner of the company is on here!
Also they have only given me 14 days to appeal so left me 5days to get sorted as only just received it through the post took 9days!!!!

Are you sure the 14 days isn't for the reduced rate? The idea is that you make a two stage appeal and get the 100% discount.
For a BPA member you have 28 days and for IPC you have 21 days to appeal. Anything less breaches their code of practice so a complaint should be made to the relevant trade association and the DVLA if that is the case.
Also, recent changes in the law say that alternative dispute resolution should be available for a year. This should always be mentioned when an appeal deadline has passed.

Well done, come back if it is refused with a load of dribble. Let us know how you get on.
  • hi there I have received a rejection letter for my appeal to ParkingEye. I have drafted up a POPLA appeal letter using extracts from examples. I was wondering if anyone would be able to review it for me?
