Seller's do need to remember your choice of courier reflects on you.

Have just waited eight days for two solar panels send by Yodal Direct 24hour next working day, which were delivered three days after tracking claimed they had been signed for. The seller stated in the listing that they would be sent by Parcelforce.

Then you do have an issue with the seller as he used a different courier than that stated in the listing.

If that happened to me, I'd still contact the seller before leaving negative feedback.

The OP has not said that the delivery service was different from the listing so perhaps not the same circumstances as yours.

I see nodding donkey has been on at 8:36pm, but declined to comment on his original post and responses received.
  • Recently I was waiting for a parcel through uk mail and it was delayed too, so I contacted the seller who got onto the courier The seller was extremely helpful once I had informed them about the delay. And i left the seller positive feedback, however on the couriers twitter page I left a stroppy rant at them. Once its been collected from the seller theres nothing they can do (aside from chase it up) They cant force the courier to deliver that day and with more people buying online and christmas coming im afraid I think we will all have to add a few extra days to our expected delivery times even with next day/specific day deliveries.
The seller thanked me for being understanding bless them. But unless he was personally delivering it to me then it was out of his control.

That choice can also be with the buyer though. If I list something with delivery by Hermes, I also include a delivery option of Parcelforce Worldwide express24. If the buyer doesn't want to pay 3 times the price to avoid Hermes, it is hardly my fault, is it?

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

Same here, my business parcels go MYHermes and the price is included in the item cost. However, I also offer RM both standard (or signed for if over £20) and RM special delivery. I think I've had two people pay extra for RM, but I've had more asking why they have to pay for RM when my listing says free postage- they don't want to use MyHermes nor do they want to pay extra for RM.

    What's the difference between a donkey and an !!! . . . ?
  • That is a blatant lie. I hope the eBay seller understands when he gets a negative because of his agents.
