Ipad purchase was bundle magazines

I ordered a new IPad Air from ULIKE and fulfilled by Amazon. The parcel arrived today, completely sealed and not tampered with. I doubted it could contain an IPad. How right I was! The packing contained three magazines. Cosmopolitan, psychologies and Homes Beautiful. Astounded, I telephoned Amazon. Even more astounded, they were uninterested. It was though it was damaged. No proof of contents needed, no details of packaging and no address or invoice checks etc. They will refund my money in 48-72 hours. Appalled at the service, they then send preprinted emails to the effect of 'sorry you received the item incorrect'

So they are refunding your money very quickly, They have no doubt in what you are saying, and you are DISAPPOINTED with the service?
I'd be over the moon if my issues were resolved like this.
Unless I'm reading it wrong but I don't think I am.0 -
Something has gone (very) wrong but they have refunded you immediately. I'd say that's pretty excellent customer service.0

Did they let you keep the magazines?0

Disappointed such companies get to sell on Amazon, disappointed I had to 'be heard' in order to hope to get my money back and yes quite simply disappointed they shrug something 'off' so easily. Still advertising and ready for the next suspect I guess. They categorically deny this company sell magazines. Hence I doubt it's an error.0

ULike has over 1700 reviews on Amazon, practically all positive. They don't strike me as a scam artist.
I'm not sure what you mean by disappointed you had to be heard? They're not psychic.
How would you prefer that they handled the situation?0 -
They don't have to inform you of any investigation or action they are taking against the company. Amazon have taken your word and refunding you without you having to jump through hoops...That's excellent service.0

Would you have been happier if they called you a liar who was trying to scam them and made you jump through hoops to get your refund?
I would say that Amazon's customer service was exemplary in resolving the matter so quickly and easily, especially for such a high value item.0 -

Still not seeing your issue.
You're upset they didn't refund you before you told them about the problem?
You're upset a seller with a lot of good feedback is allowed to continue to sell?
Next suspect? Next victim I assume you mean, though you're hardly a victim, unless being refunded for a mistake is a thing to suffer through.0 -
Unless it's me missing something, yes I am disappointed. By Amazons own admission, ULIKE do not sell magazines. They are based in HongKong, in which case I fail to see how magazines can be in a parcel in place of an iPad.
I have yet to get my refund, and then to replace the ipad. Then again, after reading UKHOTDEALS reviews on ULIKE, I am glad it has not arrived! I will not use ULIKE again regardless of reviews on Amazon.
However, only my opinion. Not necessarily correct.0 -
I can't see the significance of you receiving magazines and them not selling magazines in the first place?
You may of very well had a box full of some tat they sell or even a house brick, Amazon have been more than efficient of dealing with the issue and taken you at your word after all you could be trying to pull a scam.
You may be without an iPad for now but you are getting a refund without proof.0
