I thought it was only men's wee...not sure why.....
still don't want to see hubby standing over the top weeing in it though (and I certainly wouldn't squat over it either!!!!)0 -
This thread has made me chuckle.
We are sorting out our garden and have a few bald patches where stones and things were, might load OH up on pop and lock him out laterWork like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -
I have been emptying my daughters potty on the lawn for months, just used to do it on one patch then saw how green and lush the grass was getting, so now do the whole lawn!0

Really?
I tell all the males who come to my house that I WANT them to wee in the compost bins :rotfl:
Mine won't! I ask, and SO gets all squeamish. Granted, the bin is next to an alleyway (landlady bizarrely only put up a 5' fence...) but still. Am thinking of threatening him with a bottle next to the loo.0 -
Re: the gender issue - My aunt used to collect her urine in a bucket during the day then dilute it with as much water as she could carry in the bucket (she was in her 70's)
She then crept out in the dark and watered her lawn. She had the best grass on the street but was too ashamed to admit when asked how she got it!0 -
There certainly is something in this gender business, the Germans, (infamous chip shop bombers), collected female urine on a daily basis during the second world war as some "ingredient" in it was used for the manufacture of high explosives.
Wouldn't be allowed today, the P.C. Brigade would be screaming, "Sexual equality, stop taking the p*ss out of women".
I suppose I'm gonna be reported for nationalistic and gender abuse now0 -
Pee is also FANTASTIC for tomato plants.
They have to be fairly well established, and you have to dilute the pee. Best bit of all is your friends' faces when you tell them. (AFTER they have eaten the tomatoes, of course).Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
I was told by our landscaper that b*tch urine was really alkaline and that's why it damages the lawn, leaving bald spots. He advised putting vinegar in her water to neutralise it.
We did it a couple of times, but it didn't help that much, I suppose that's because she's always drinking out of puddles and streams when she is out for a wall - probably because her water tasted so fowl in her bowl :rotfl:Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)
