Monday 9th Nov - what small DFW things will you do today?

Good morning everyone!
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Just a quick update while I have a few minutes left of my break.
Today will be a NSD - I really have little choice and have very little diesel left in the car to get home, honestly feel so terrible about this today, but nonetheless it won't be this way forever.
Don't want to waste diesel driving to parents house for lunch so instead ill just go for a walk.
Tonight I'll just be in the house, used Resolver last night regarding a problem I'm having with my phone provider so hopefully should get an email soon about it.
I'll list up a few items tonight without fail.
Also got through to a test for a job interview so I will do that tonight as well its one of these situational judgement test si I've been able to practice a bit!
Also I'm going to have a look towards next month's budget tonight, quietly looking forward to it once the wee one is asleep.
Hope everyone has a great day

Congratulations to you Ally. I agree. That time has gone so fast. You are obviously doing something right and your Aus fund is
growing nicely there
LegoMum - my sister was told she had dsylexia when she was 7. But by the time she left primary school they felt she no longer had it. So it is possible to outgrow it. Hope your research has made you feel calmer rather than more worried?
Ziggy- hope your children get better soon. Glad their illness didn't spoil the day out for you all though.
Foxgloves.- Isn't it funny how much more it's possible to get done without others underfoot
There seems to have been a lot of early risers in our gang today, Determined, La E, CCL. Hope you've all lasted? And Carrie, although your tiredness is self inflicted, hope you lasted too
Well. Survived Monday. It's windy and wild here. OH worked from home as he had the dentist. So he did the school run. Which was handy. DD will be 5 weeks old on Wednesday. .the time has flown by. We have managed to register her and get a bank account open for her. I want to sort her a passport next. Not that we are planning a break but it's the last official thing to get done and if we do want to go away at some point it's less drama.
NSD today. Gave son some lasagne leftover from yesterday's meal for his tea so that used up leftovers and made life a bit easier tonight.
Walked all journies.

Hi everyone :hello:
You've been inspiring me today on two fronts:
- It's just me in tonight so I'm going to turn off the heating - plenty of blankets available
- Pasta bake sounds perfect for my fridge dive tea :T
Nice one Ally on 6 months of your debt-freeness!! :T:T
I'm celebrating 7 months since the last time I added to my debt

Hi folks,
Sorry but it's a really quick update from me today. Had a long lie to 6.30 and seem to have never caught up - I've not even had a chance to read what you're all up to.
I just wanted to come on as I promised myself I would post each day - but the 6am start didn't work this morning
My 3rd habit forming is to ensure the "public" areas of the house are all tidy & presentable before going to bed. I'm counting the conservatory, living room, hall bathroom and kitchen in this. It also means that clothes for work the next day will be ironed and lunches made & in the fridge - that way even if I sleep in I'll go to work dressed & fed.
Today - only spent £1 at work on a cheeky wee Caesar salad that caught my eye. Proactive moneysaving - 2 trugs of kindling from DH's nephew brought in - and he's kept the bag to get us more. Also spoke to next door to ask her for her old newspapers - no problem - so now fire is sorted for winter.
Anyhow must pop off now - need to make the tea.
I promise to be more organised tomorrowDebts 07/12/2021

Hi all,
Late check in from me. Thanks for starting LaE.
Not a NSD as I have to go and get soup for lunches for the rest of the week. I've had a particularly pants day at work today so might stretch the food budget and get something very chocolately and calorific for pud (I've already started on the vino!)
We used our unlimited cards to see The Martian last night - very good film but we didn't get home until midnight!
Cut open some beauty products this morning - still loads left in
Banking updated and FPL checked
Resisted the urge to splash out on a carvery tonight and had homemade curry from the freezer instead :A

Ziggy- hope your children get better soon. Glad their illness didn't spoil the day out for you all though.
It was coming home so may have been just travel sickness, DD is not used to sitting in the back as she's drives. I am lucky in that I have a really good relationship now with both my stepson and stepdaughter, me and their dad have been married for 23 years and have a son together aged 12. Our son has a great relationship with his siblings too, when he was at primary he did his family tree and even put their mum on it and told them his dad had 2 wives, lol, was so funny, even funnier was he put her name as Wendy Dragon, lol - you can tell what DH used to call her and how their relationship was and still is to some respects (he still doesn't speak to her even if we are in same room)
