Looking at this now, is it possible that ESA have overpaid me (that is only IF they deduct the pension from my ESA) - baring in mind I am still in the assessment phase?

Well, I'll soon find out when they send a letter I suppose! :(

Baring in mind also that I have just had my ESA medical.

So I may not even be entitled to ESA at all.

In your opening post you said you were in the WRAG group.

It is the group I am most likely to be placed into.

My assessor said to my mum, it is very unlikely that the DWP will find him fit for work, but I don't think there is enough medical evidence to place him in the support group.

The assessor also said that I should be claiming PIP - and I am. I gave her my PIP letter for the DWP DM to see (not that it will make too much difference however).

I am not counting my chickens until they have hatched!

I have been told that the assessors come across friendly, but this is only to catch you out.

    Eligible children are your children.
They must, at the date of your death:
    • be under 18 and be wholly or mainly dependent on you, or
    • be aged 18 or over and under 23, be dependent on you, and be in full time education or undertaking vocational training (although a dependant child who commences full time education or vocational training after the date of your death may be treated as an eligible child up to age 23), or
    • in some cases, a dependant child of any age who is disabled may be classed as an eligible child.
were you wholly or mainly dependent on your late father or is this one wind up?

I am very very familiar with the LGPS, I will say no more, this thread will not be deleted and we have copies anyway.
