  • I'd love to join in if it's still possible, it's a great idea!

No target for me this time, I just want to see how much I can squirrel away this year :)

Thank you both Mrs Moneypenny and Lynne. I've given it a read but I'll give it another good read over tonight when I get in :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning all and hope you are all well. Sorry I haven't been posting, but I have been potting.

I've read back from Sue's last post and hope to keep up to date from there.
Welcome to new potters and glad to see the old (as in experienced) potters are still active.

My pot at the minute has £140 and hopefully on target.

I've had a couple of holidays over the winter, but free now until October. I also have a couple of one night Travelodge bookings for the summer to look forward to. Can't wait to start the gardening.

Hi everyone, not been around much, potting has gone to pot over the last few weeks I really need to get back on track or I won't make my target!
DGS Christening yesterday, we had a lovely time, it was nice to see the wider family, albeit for only a few hours but time to catch up. He looked lovely in the Christening gown that DD1 saved her coppers to buy for his Mummy, both DGDs have been Christened in it too so it's become the 'family Christening gown', we used the shawl a friend made for his Mummy's Christening too, that was lovely because she is no longer with us and reminded me of what a lovely caring lady she was.
We have a family wedding in Scotland coming up in a few weeks,we're really looking forward to that. I'll have seen more of my family in the first 4 months of this year than I saw of them all last year!
Hope everyone's staying safe and dry in this awful wind and rain x

 What a day! Hope everyone enjoyed a lovely weekend - power has been on and off all morning here, which is very annoying. You can hear the groans in the workshop when all the machines switch off!!! The dog and I did a sort of crablike, sideways walk this morning as we were pelted with hail and blown by the wind. Happy days :(

Anyway, a little rummage through my purse shows that I have £4.30 to add to my little pot tonight :D

Keep safe, warm and dry everyone

Hi all - another £1. potted as per my No Toiletries challenge.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

My purse is completely empty, not a single note or coin to be seen. Trying for a few no spend days this week so looks like I'll be taking money out the bank to put straight in my pot!!!
