I wanted to post a photogaph on an electrical item in a forum post which would make it easier to identify for responses. I have put the photograph im both My pictures and a Drop Box but have had no success. I have tried both Cut and Paste and copy but it won't appear in the forum text .Can anybody advise me how I can get the photogaph included in my forum post please

Quick answer - you have to upload it to a photo hosting site, such as Photobucket. Then you can use the 'Insert Image' button to embed the photo.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I have had the same issue about downloading a photograph onto a Forum Post. Photobucket does not work for me as I have Ad Block on my PC and I would prefer not to take it off. Is there an alternative to Photobucket that you someone could suggest.0

I'm not sure whether image posting works the same way as posting links, but if it does you need to have made a minimum number of posts (I don't know how many) before it's allowed at all.0

You could try tinypic.

When I click on the image on postimage and try and put in the forum all I get is letters and figures not the photo itself. The same applies to dropbox. I have tried clicking on the mountain on the forum and I get the same. What am I doing wrong please in simply language as I am a novice when it comes to transferring photographs.0

I have been following this specific forum with interest. I have had the same issue which I cannot resolve. When I try and downl;oad an image into the forum all I get is the HTML referernce. I try clicking onto to reference in hope that the image will show up but it does not. It is very frustrating. Like Bill above I feel I must be doing something wrong and there is a simple solution. Maybe another contributor could give me and others some step by step guidance. I have tried dropbox, tinypic and postimage. as with others I will not use Photobucket as it wants me disable my AdBlock. I live in hope that someone will come up with an answer. Thank you.0
