Yes but rent arrears are covered under S.8 G.8, which is mandatory once more than two months in arrears

Breach of tenancy is S.8 G.12 is for breach of contract, which is discretionary.

    Worth being clear about it

Indeed S8.12 specifically precludes rent payments.
The wise LL would seek possession under as many grounds as possible aside from S8.8 as whilst it is mandatory it is probably the easiest one to circumvent at the last minute.

I haven't said anything different to that. In fact I've made it clear a number of times - it's two separate agreements

No, you have in the past stated that it is one agreement despite being told that it isn't.

Oh sorry, have the rules changed or is it just you that gets to ascribe comments to people without having to go to the effort of backing it up?

No rules changed as far as I know.

However I cant prove a negative - I cant prove something didn't happen.

If you would kindly direct me to the post, I will be happy to correct it and give you credit for pointing it out.

If mrginge isn't able to point out where I claimed it was a single contract, would you be so kind?

I was referring to your statement in #77 / #78 which you don't seem to want to justify.
  • I better start writing my letter.

You have over 2,000 posts, too many to go through.

Simpler to say I apologise if I offended you and have you confused with someone else.

Would you so kind as to advise where I mistakenly (if it happened) suggested this was one contract?
