I wouldn't wrap it all. Just place it tenderly beneath the tree when you visit on Christmas Eve. With a pretty label of course, and don't forget a heartfelt message of thanks for all that she has done for you. Then she has all night to admire it and contemplate your generosity before the Big Day itself.
Then you can go round on Christmas morning and look under the tree and find all the gifts intended for you have simply vanished. And as she serves a huge bowl of pasta for Xmas lunch, your mother will beam at you with pleasure. 'Surprise!' she'll say.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
