This is for my mum for christmas. At hers the other day i heard her complaining about getting spaghetti out of the pan which as we all know was a hint that she wants a spaghetti spoon for christmas :D i dont want her guessing what it is, so how would you wrap this?

I would get an old cardboard box, maybe one another product like an Iron has come in and put it inside and wrap the box. That way she gets a double surprise - first she will think she's got a new iron for Christmas and when she opens the box and see's the spaghetti spoon she'll be thrilled and surprised :)

You are so thougtful spinkz I'm sure your mum will love it. You could wrp it in bubble wrap and put it in a wine bottle bag. Imagine the surprise on her face when she thinks you've bought her a lovely chateauneuf and she unwraps this gorgeous gift instead!

You could always get her some spaghetti to go with it. Or a packet of washing up sponges.
Never again will the wolf get so close to my door

  • Maybe, if it fits, put into a empty pringles crisps tube? Try to peel off the label or paste the wrapping paper around the box, so she doesn't think you bought her just crisps. If it doesn't fit, look for some free packaging boxes in supermarket that looks like a cylinder or a long rectangular box.

I don't know which one would be the nicer surprise - thinking she's got a new iron, or thinking she's got a bottle of wine. Maybe Spinkz should buy her a new fish slice too and then he can try both methods? :rotfl:
