Can't you just pull your trousers down? or does that reveal too much? your pants would still be in place to save your modesty. I don't really understand urinal etiquette.

Nooooo please noooo, I can just picture the scene ( even though I try not to) of a number of gents standing at the urinals with trouser draped around their ankles.

I think zips are the least of M&S's quality control problems.

Far more annoying is that they can't standardise their sizing, even within the same range. !

Totally agree, my OH bought some knickers last month (2 packs from the same range) got them home and had to return one pack because they were about 2 inches bigger in the waste.
  • Greetings!

I too got "caught" by the short zip on a pair of M&S trousers. Took 4 reviews before they would accept it - can't use various words on their review system, which in this case is necessary to explain the problem! I really can't see how any purchasers can gush over these trousers ... Oh - done it again! Review is on the M&S site now: search for:

2 inches bigger in the waste? Sure it wasn't nappies he bought?

I used to be a regular shopper with M&S until recently when I have just given up because the quality and sizing is terrible.
A couple of years ago I purchased a number of cotton sweaters and they washed very well,so I purchased the same size and model sweater to find the quality was poor, and you thought I had purchased two sizes smaller when they arrived
