Supermarket Kettles

Why is it when you buy a value Supermarket Kettle it works ok for 2-3 months then after that when you start to boil it goes so far then stops and restarts a few minutes later?

It's still under warranty so take it back.
Cheap products don't always last long....but for £5 you could replace it every year and it's still cheaper than a £30 kettle that you replace every 5 years or so.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Of course, you could always get one of these that can't possibly break because there's nothing in it to break

Okay it takes three times longer to boil but on the plus side, in a power cut one can often still have a cup of coffee0 -
