Come on, Igor, pass round the beetroot punch and nibbly things, we will be starting the dancing soon....must say, young Fabio looks good in a kilt......Yes, Hubert, you also look splendid in your tartan gear, but those purple stilettos are no good for dancing in! Hope the band behave themselves this time.......

Ooh, what a good idea, Igor, fireworks leftover from the beginning of the month.....we can set them off after the dancing! Now, who is up for the next dance, entitled Tha' s A Braw Wind Up Ma Troosers?

Igor, no need to be so literal, put that electric fan away.....

  • I bagged one more NSD on Sunday (totally unplanned) so 7/6 for me in November, exceeded my little target!

Today I spent £3.50 on a work lunch, silly me... it would have been 8... now let's see how I manage December, I need to be extrasupercareful.

Chef will be flambeeing the haggis in a minute, that will be a glorious sight, blue brandy flames everywhere.....So exciting, isn't it, Igor? We'll have the fireworks afterwards outside - where did you put the box?

You put the box of fireworks in the kitchen? Where in the kitchen?

On the kitchen table...You mean, the kitchen table where Chef is now lighting the match to flambee the haggis........

    RUN EVERYBODY!

Well done, knightley, for exceeding your target! marmite will present you with your prize when she next appears, a lovely lump of cheese.....sadly, I missed my target so will have to be content with the consolation prize, a mahoosive great chocolate gateau......can't win them all....

  • @Nagerblast: Good one :-) I'm a cheese addict - my grandfather was a shepherd - it's in my blood. You will do better next time around!

I'm already thinking what my NSD target should be for December, it can't be very high because it's Christmas, but then the first 3 weeks shouldn't be that bad for me... as I only have one shopping day planned on Weds... already bought presents so not much left to buy.

The thing is, knightley, December contains bank holidays when you won't be shopping, and lots of people get paid early in December, which means a long wait to January payday, therefore December's pay has to last a bit longer! Should in theory be possible to get lots of NSDs.....in theory......

  • Oh I know, we're getting paid on the 24th too... and I'm getting a big bonus in December payroll but unfortunately it will go straight to my CC debt.

It's the run up to Christmas I'm afraid of, not the post Christmas period. I so badly want to do 15 NSDs in December... not sure what's best, set up a target of 10 and exceed it, or 15 and miss it? :) it's uplifting to meet targets but I also need to challenge myself!
