Well, we thought big bruvver was leaving home (200 miles away) at 5:30 this evening ......but he left at 5:30 this morning. Doorbell rings at 9:30 whilst OH and I were having our morning cuppa in bed. There stands big bruvver, saying "Come on, get the tea on!"
Two cups of extremely weak tea and a bacon sandwich later, he set to work. The place is in upheaval, I have sent OH out shopping for some additional supplies for tomorrow night's meal (home cooked coq au vin) and am relaxing with a cup.of herbal tea away from all the chaos. One life - your life - live it!0 -

Today won't be.
This week we've (I've!) ripped the curtains, pranged the car and blown up the vaccuum. Some money will need to be spent to rectify those..... sigh!
Friday 13th hasn't been the unlucky day this week - they ALL have been. Ah well. This weekend will involve picking myself up
MIB x
Blimey MIB,what a week!

Igor, why are you poncing around in that fluorescent yellow onesie?
Oh, it's Children in Need time, and Sir Terry has asked you to stand in for him as he's not feeling well? Too many chocolate sprout truffles, methinks! So, what are we doing tonight for this very good cause?
Sponsored karaoke? Sponsored sit in a bath of cold sprout vindaloo? Hubert and Chef doing their version of the Argentine Tango in the Ennessdee Towers version of Strictly Come Dancing? One life - your life - live it!0 -
Remember when Hubert and Igor did the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet last year?
It brought the house down, literally I know....but it was a crowdpleaser, and for once Igor got to swank around in manly tights and chest wig and be taken seriously.*
Needless to say,Hubert looked stunning in his pretty dress with the low bodice and frilly big knicker combo.
I do like the whole 'sitting in a bath full of cold sprouts curry vindaloo'.
'sits with knotted brow drumming fingers impatiently'
Could we do both?
* I heard whispers that he was the new 'man of the moment/Cumberbunchy figure...the brooding intensity,y'know.

Ok, gang, Igor will sit in a bath of cold sprout vindaloo whilst reciting Hamlet' s soliloquy (To be or not to be). Hubert in frilly pink tutu will attempt to dance the dying swan dance from Swan Lake whilst being pelted with rotten tomatoes. Chef will attempt to break the world record for the fastest time to chop and stuff a chicky (sorry, chicken. Too much exposure to Chefspeak). Mrs Doyle is creating the world's largest egg sarnie mountain. Our intrepid staff are going that extra mile to raise money for charity, so let's cheer them on..'One life - your life - live it!0
