In my case Igor will be trying to convince me that LO curried pilchards on a stick, burnt toast and his famed sprouts marmalade is a yummy breakfast combo.

    Help.

    Otherwise Happy Sunday all! :)

Well due to the damp I am staying put today! and so I am claiming NSD number 7 and (unsurprisingly) 7 in a row :rotfl:

Right off to finish knitting the ear defenders/warmers for tonights big bash :D:rotfl:

    Ah Knit Witch,bombing ahead I see.Keep up the good work! ;) :j
Could you make my ear muffs with little pompoms on them please? :D
Now there's a funny thing.....NSD number 3 has just come to play.....chuck it in the Cauldron of Doom, Igor, there's a good chap.

Are we all set for another attempt at a fireworks party? I see Chef is brewing up a huge vat of hot chocolate for us, this time I hope he goes easy on the chilli......Hubert, give marmite back her corset, it is too good to be burnt on the guy, and she has years of wear left in it. And have we got the surprise cake for jodies send-off? Keep up, Igor, she's off to Las Vegas and taking those creatures that shall not be named with her!

I say, that cake looks fabulous! I do.hope she likes beetroot buttercream!

Oh yummy,I see that the cake was a hit! Igor has saved you a big slice Nargle. He knows how partial you are to beetroot buttercream. :D

Never mind the corset.I still have my reserve 18 hour girdle....

Well done on capturing #3! :j:j
  • No 2 being declared by me for yesterday :)

    Now at 2/14 :)

    Jolly good craftingmad! :j:j
Had to cut short the above post as laughing too much. When typing I noted the predictive text was about to substitute another word for restocked.

You don't know how close you came to reading "Igor, I see you have testicles."

Morning, NSD gang! No thank you, Mrs Doyle, it is going to take more than six cups of your extra strong tea to wipe out the memories of last night's party! Has Hubert recovered from eating all that vindaloo-flavoured parkin? You would think he would have learnt by now that he has a temperamental gut, and should stick to plain foods.

And with Chef and Igor getting confused over the meaning of "bangers and mash", we almost had fireworks of another kind in the kitchen! (I thought something was wrong when those fireworks would not light properly, and the "sausages" tasted funny......)

At least we had a good send off for jodies and the voles! Now marmite can relax, knowing they are not around to raid her stores of illicit substances.....she is still trying to sort out skin grafts to remove that shocking tattoo she had done when they took her out on the town.....I am hoping Helga will forget about them and turn her attention to training Tiddles, our new house cat. At least there's just one of him...And he is too big to nest in her beard.....

    Claiming 2 nsds
    for Thursday and Friday.

I'm hoping for number 3 today but me & my sister are going into town to see an exhibition in our local museum and she wants to do some christmas shopping & I need some make-up

    That's great Moonbeam!

I must admit,I can't wait to find out if Saturday was spendy or not....sounds like it could have been mighty difficult not to spend!

Thankfully last night is but a blur....I do remember that it all got a bit raucous after we'd toasted jodles and her OH with the reserve Olde Fartinge...then there was a conga line which was fun, though unfortunately I was behind Hubert who seemed to have some digestive issues...I think the fumes probably knocked me out....Hubert,no more vindaloo parkin, ever.Capiche?

Yes, the horror of that conga line will stay with me forever.....with the rain and the mud and Hubert's nappy losing the fight with the parkin vindaloo, it all got a bit slippy.....never mind, I don't know about you lot but I will be ironing my smalls today then having a leisurely bath with my hyper-expensive Reetch Beetch bath oil and a glass of fizzy.....

I don't believe it! That jodies has gone and packed my bath oil! The little madam! Igor, what can I use in the bath instead?

Ah, your old family skin care remedy.....packed with herbs, flowers, fruits....and 98% rancid chip fat. Lovely.

  • I hate to be the breaker of bad news, but Hubert has borrowed all your Victoria's Nightmare smalls until the Parkinvindaloogate crisis is over...you don't mind,do you?

He said he needed something pretty to take his mind off his sore tummy....
