These schemes can work.... if you are running 10-12 hour shifts 5 days per week.
But you've neglected the fact you are self employed and need to account for:
holiday pay
cost of van whilst you are not working
If you want 4 weeks off per year and have £200 per week = £800.
Plus £130 lease for those 4 weeks = £520.
So that's £27.50 per week you need to account for to cover these... otherwise you will be destined to work every week every year until you die or go bust anyway.
I've not accounted for down time here either.
Then H&R insurance can easily be £50 per week.
Don't want to put a downer on it, but you've jumped on the defensive here so can't see you taking on baord the realities of these "jobs".
You need to write down ALL costs.
Roughly how many parcels you will deliver (bearing in mind these companies exagerate your potential and of course traffic conditions in your locality then there is the houses hard to find or in the middle of nowhere consuming a significant portion of the shift).0 -
I heard NASA are recruiting Astronauts, could apply for that?
BTW, they supply the transport.0
