    They are not interested, because this needs to be referred to action fraud. Which i did.

    Also i called the local police and got the crime reference number. which helped to place the recall request on my transfer through my bank

    but it may take 7 days to get any reply!

    If you've got a crime number then it's being investigated, so don't say they are not interested. Unless they have told you the report has been filed and they are not investigating it.
    Action Fraud won't take any action, they'll refer it to the police to deal.

    I agree, its gone. i want to find out who the scammer is at least do something so that it does not happen to others?

    Not necessarily what?

    Are we talking City of London Police? At the moment the offence should be recorded at your home address by your local police, unless they know where the offence has taken place or where the offender is.
