  • Seems strange ( but expected now), no viewings this week.
I have Dexter coming to see me tomorrow evening .
    I have 6 weeks left on my contract with chase ( t b c ).
I'm just wondering what Dexters do that CB can't .
If brexit is affecting them, it will affect all of the estate agents IMHO .

Just wondering what the state of play would be if I went with Dexters.

Would I get. a list of people I cannot sell to , who previously went to CB ? My brother did , when he quit with another estate agent

This brexit thing may take a couple of years , before things improve again .

    We'll see..

Good Morning AC, Good Morning All

Just a quickie, unless you contract has an exclusivity clause then there is no reason why you can't use more that one agent, so just check your contract before you do anything.

I am watching RM - quite a few reductions this week - more than usual and quite a few previous STC properties Coming back onto the market. Obviously I don't know about viewing figures.

I believe the stock market is better, not seen the figures today but I think if people can see the markets steadying it might help restore some confidence.

    Alas I don't have a crystal ball.

Oddly enough I nearly put a bet on the result but didn't. I wished I had had the courage. My sons mate put £500 on "leave" to win at 8-1 and made a nice little profit.......good for him.
  • Howdy LL ;)
    Just got a call from c b . Viewing arranged for 3.30 today .
I think she said 2 man and a baby . Then was talking about equity .
I was trying to be quick on the phone, as I didn't want my colleague to find out what I was talking about .

Everything tidy , except cutlery , pans and a plate on the sink .
Washed , but not dried as I was running almost late this morning .
Hopefully no hairs on the bath ,)!

    So , another viewing

Good Luck! As LL said earlier check your existing EA contract, also look for any period of notice you are required to give to actually terminate that contract, as it may not just finish without notice.

    Hi AC, all,

Just been aimlessly browsing the board, to see if anything jumped out at me and this did: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/70919339#Comment_70919339

Someone is moving to London, doesn't know whereabouts they want to be and is looking for a 2 bed property.

I hope I do not get a slap on the wrist from anyone for pointing this out. I can't see how this is contra to anyone's interests, you could just as easily have found it yourself.

Big Board Brothers and Sisters, if I have done wrong, I am sorry. Smodlet scared.

Thanks smodlet . Unfortunately , it's for rent & not wanting to buy.
I'll recommend something for them, if I can;)
    Don't think you've broken any rules . You're a great help ;)

No feedback from one of the viewings last sat : c b have tried, but I imagine the lady has 2nd thoughts because of brexit . Or is just not interested . I haven't been a whole week without a viewing yet , although I expect next week onwards to be very quiet .

Dexter is coming around this evening , I'll see what they have to say ;)

    Hi AC, all,

Sorry about that, AC, I did not read the whole thing, like a fool, got carried away in the excitement. Think it could be worth dipping into that thread, though? If I find anything else, I will read properly next time. Thank you for your lovely comment. :T

Anna, you jammy, jammy, jammy, jammy, all right, you're jammin'!:D:cool:

School's out, huh? Uni, I'm guessing, if it's this early. Plans for the hols? Serious house-hunting?
