  • Strange feeling right now . A little scary. You wouldn't think so, but I'm in a sort of honeymoon period , which officially ends on may 31st.

I have no family near me . Then again , it's only 2 hours to Waterloo , where one of my sisters lives . She's married with my brother in law and niece and nephew , if thst makes any sense.

The feeling I have now is shock, I guess.
Then again , if it doesn't workout , I can always move again, so I'll try not to worry .
  • You have come so far its normal to be a little wobbly
But remember where you have come from and how strong you have been up to now
    Deep breath and carry on
You will be great and your new life will be great and you can you can start to build the life you want now

It is normal to feel a little overwhelmed when moving into a new place AC. Now I know you are not one for making lists normally but can I suggest you do just that. A list of work in order of priority and cost the works up with quotes from recommended local tradesmen. Do as much yourself as possible to keep costs low. Big plus the flat is not huge so should not cost a fortune to knock it into shape. Budgeting is a priority until you are working again.

  • Thanks again for yoour kind words

Was supposed to see landlady at 5 pm .
Didn't happen unfortunately . I was stuck in the pub with my friend and his daughter .
Saw the text on phone , and decided to phone her.
She was fine. Never told her I wuss in the pub.
My friend did a huge amount measuring etc.
Hoping my speech wasn't too slurred . A common symptom of myasthenia gravus .
    Still , I had a great day whatever :)
